• When your own body's stem cells are collected via a simple needle procedure, that can be done under just local anesthesia and if indicated, intravenous sedation can be used.
• Your stem cells are collected from either a small needle extracting a proper amount of your body's stem cells. This is done with a needle to extract either several ounces of superficial adipose (fat) tissue just under your skin around your lower abdomen/flank area.
• Then our team at Grand Rapids Pain extracts your own body’s stem cells from the adipose sample obtained with a very minor procedure taking less than 30 minutes and then adds your own stem cells to your own platelet-rich plasma (see PRP above).
